Financial Times: VŠE Represented by the Faculty of Business Administration Is the 55th Best European Business School

Today the Financial Times published its annual European Business School Rankings 2021. The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), represented in the ranking by the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), ranked 55th. It is a composite ranking based on the combined performance of Europe’s leading schools across the five main rankings of programs published by the FT in 2021: MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management (MiM), and in 2020 for the two rankings of non-degree executive education programs.

The overall position of the VŠE is therefore mainly influenced by the huge success of FBA in the Masters in Management 2021 ranking, where the English program Master in International Management / CEMS took a great 14th place. Other evaluated criteria also include the diversity of the faculty, including the proportion of women and its international composition.

From the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, only the Polish Kozminski University ranked ahead of the Prague University of Economics and Business with 54th place. The prestigious French university HEC Paris heads the ranking for the third year running. Both HEC and VŠE are members of the CEMS Alliance.

This is the 18th annual Financial Times ranking of European business schools. The ranking measures the schools’ quality and breadth of programs. Quality is given a greater emphasis so that schools offering high-quality training but not providing all the different courses considered can still perform strongly overall.
