Looking Back: MIMG Welcome Session 2023

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, the MIMG programme Welcome Session unfolded at the charming atmosphere of the Academic Club (Restaurace AK VŠE).

All the participating first-year/newcomer students first met by the statue in front of the Prague University of Economics and Business, and from there, they set out for a brief walk to get to know the neighbourhood and the adjacent surroundings. Afterwards, they navigated the campus to get familiar with its premises, only to find their way to the evening’s venue – the Academic Club.

Once there, our second-year students took the stage to deliver a brief lecture on InSIS, followed by an enjoyable round of Kahoot. But of course, the highlight of the evening was the warm welcome address from the Programme Coordinator, Ms. Bouckova. After that, an informal catered event started, which was also joined by the MIMG alumni.

The turnout was great – and the MIMG office would very much like to appreciate the fact that no one missed the lecture – those who could not show up in person took the time and attended online.
