Phenomenal success of the Faculty of Business Administration in the Financial Times Master in Management Ranking 2018

The Financial Times has published its annual „Master in Management Ranking 2018“, in which the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of the University of Economics, Prague took amazing 22nd place. International Master’s Programme CEMS, which in the long term places on the top positions of the ranking, defended successfully its 9th place from last year.

Because of the 22nd position The Faculty of Business Administration joins prestigious universities from all around the world, such as Esade Business School, Spain (11th place), Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria (13th place), or University of Sydney Business School, Australia (27th place). From universities of the Central and Eastern Europe region the Faculty of Business Administration takes 2nd place right behind the Kozminski University, Poland (20th place).

“This is a phenomenal success of our faculty, which by this enters the first league of world universities,” says Dean of the faculty Ivan Nový. “It is a result of years-long everyday efforts. And even though it is great news, which will certainly attract attention and respect, it is equally demanding. By our future work we have to prove we really deserve this place,” adds Nový.

The CEMS Master’s Programme ranked as ninth is a joint project of 31 prestigious universities which provide managerial education. At the Faculty of Business Administration it is taught as part of a two-year English programme Master in International Management.

The University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) ranked as the first, HEC Paris (France) places as the second and London Business School (United Kingdom) places as the third.
