Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Procurement Support with German (limited part-time, DPC)
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Expected start date: June 2023 (duration min. 6 months)
About the team
The Professional Services Category Team, based in Prague, is part of the Global Procurement Organization and provides excellent business partnering to SAP’s internal and external stakeholders. The category is responsible for the definition and execution of global sourcing strategies and the respective Governance model in close collaboration with business owners, Legal, and Controlling, as well as for effective stakeholder and supplier management across the globe. In this regard, the category is overall accountable for all sourcing activities related to Professional Services, such as Financial & Legal Services, Strategy & Business Consulting, Travel Services and HR Services.
In this role, you’ll:
- Project Management Support (SAP ARIBA + SAP Fieldglass)
- Global Preferred Supplier List/Application Support
- Contract Management Support (Supplier Management, Contracting)
- Support of Bidding & Sourcing Activities (RFP, RFI, e-auctions)
- Reporting & Analytics
- PO approvals
- Supplier Registration, Evaluation & Classification
- Need to interact with local, regional or global counterparts (internal and external), up to mid-level (internally), to achieve successful results
- Additional areas of responsibility may be identified over time, depending on the candidate’s strengths and interests. The key for a successful candidate is being eager to learn, having a keen interest in Procurement topics as well a high affinity for technology.

- student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences with preferred fields of study: Business Informatics, Business Administration, Marketing, HR, Controlling or Natural Sciences
- ability & willingness to learn and work in an international environment
- analytical skills, high-quality awareness
- soft skills: highly motivated, high service attitude, result-driven, proactive, team member, good communication skills and the ability to work independently and flexible
- advanced knowledge in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and any SAP Tech Technology is a plus
- understanding professional services (HR Services, Financial & Legal Services, Strategy & Business Consulting) is a plus
- good project management skills
- identify business-related opportunities
- good time management
- continuous improvement of technical skills and process knowledge
- ability to work in international teams and virtual environment
- very good written and spoken English and communicative level in German
